Chrysalis grants announced
The Chrysalis Foundation has awarded $75,000 in grants to 13 local organizations that serve women and girls in Greater Des Moines. Bernie Lorenz Recovery Inc., Children and Family Urban Ministries, the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, the Iowa Homeless Youth Center, Iowans for Social and Economic Development, Youth Emergency Services & Shelter of Iowa, and the Young Women’s Resource Center were among the organizations to receive support from the 2010-2011 Community Partners Grant Program.
