Windstar acquires Lincoln line
Iowa’s largest motorcoach company has formed an agreement to acquire the Lincoln, Neb., branch of Kincaid Coach Lines. Carroll-based Windstar Lines Inc. told the Lincoln Journal Star that it plans to operate about seven to 10 motorcoaches in the Lincoln market. The company currently operates more than 40 motorcoaches in four Iowa markets, including Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Dubuque. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Kincaid Coach, based in Edwardsville, Kan., operates more than 60 vehicles with terminals in cities such as Oklahoma City, Wichita, Kan., and Amarillo, Texas.
