Transportation commission to discuss issues in Washington
Members of the Iowa Transportation Commission will travel to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Iowa’s congressional delegation April 6-7, the Iowa Department of Transportation announced today.
Members will discuss federal surface transportation reauthorization and the annual and long-term funding outlook. Other possible discussion topics include potential changes in federal programs and non-highway modes of transportation. No action will be taken at that time.
