House of Mercy receives $10,000 grant
Principal Financial Group Inc. has donated $10,000 to House of Mercy; the grant will be used to provide self-sufficiency and financial literacy programs for women and teenagers. House of Mercy provides essential services to women who suffer from chemical dependency or homelessness. The self-sufficiency program assists them in defining career and financial goals and educates them about job seeking, resume writing, and college course enrollment.
