Aplos Health Plans announced on Thursday a new health insurance option for Iowa-based employers. The program is a result of a partnership among the following organizations: Aplos Health Plans, Exemplar Care, the OccuNet Co. and Vivid Clear Rx, a Hy-Vee-owned pharmacy benefit manager. The new health plan option is designed “to provide Iowa-based employers and their employees with enhanced health care benefits at lower costs,” according to a press release from Aplos Health Plans and Exemplar. Employers and brokers interested in learning more are invited to attend free information sessions, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on June 27 and from 9 a.m. to noon on June 28 at the Ron Pearson Center, 5820 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
