Dan Culhane, President & CEO of the Ames Chamber of Commerce, has been awarded the Leadership for Iowa Award by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Foundation. The prestigious honor recognizes his outstanding leadership in the community and state of Iowa. Culhane, a graduate of the Leadership Iowa program, will receive the award on June 15 at the ABI’s Taking Care of Business Conference in Cedar Rapids. With over 27 years in economic development, Culhane has spearheaded initiatives that have positively impacted the Ames area’s economy, including airport modernization and company recruitment.
