Volunteer Iowa is proud to announce $155,000 in funding awarded to nine K-12 schools through the AmeriCorps Volunteer Generation Fund American Rescue Plan. The funding, distributed via Youth Service-Learning Grants and Youth Mentoring Grants, aims to support students and enhance their educational experience. Four schools will receive Youth Mentoring Grants, enabling the establishment of mentoring programs, while five schools will benefit from Youth Service-Learning Grants to bolster service-learning initiatives.
