Pioneer opens crop research center in Ukraine
Pioneer Hi-Bred Ukraine announced the official opening of its now fully operational multi-crop research center in Lyubartsi, Ukraine. The Pioneer Lyubartsi Research Center will develop and test high-quality hybrid corn, sunflower and canola products for farmers in Ukraine and the surrounding region to increase productivity to meet growing customer demand. In the past two years, Pioneer’s research efforts in Ukraine have allowed the company to double the number of corn and sunflower hybrids being tested, officials said in a release.
