A Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant is planned in Waukee, city and real estate records show.

Waukee Partners LLC, located in Wichita, Kan., paid Fridley Properties LLC $1.36 million for property at 425 E. Hickman Road in Waukee, Dallas County real estate records show. The undeveloped property is located north of Hickman between Northeast Westgate and Northeast Dartmoor drives.

Waukee’s Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council approved the site plan for the project May and June, respectively.

The 2,325-square-foot single-story structure will include a patio on the south side of the restaurant. A traditional drive-thru with a menu board will not be included in the restaurant. However, five parking spaces will be available for customers to pick up takeout orders, information provided to the city groups shows.
