Western Gateway to showcase cars
The Western Gateway Association’s inaugural “Auto-Matic: Car Culture Extravaganza” is scheduled to take place from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Oct. 16. The free event, which is intended to highlight the history of the auto-oriented district and to draw attention to businesses near Western Gateway Park, will be held on Locust Street between 10th and 13th streets. The Western Gateway Association and Road Rally Charities are partnering to put on the event. It will feature a display of classic and exotic cars, historic photos of the area, live music, food and beverages.
