Becker Underwood acquires African company
Ames-based Becker Underwood announced yesterday that it has acquired South African company Biological Control Products Ltd. (BCP).
BCP specializes in producing biologically based products for agriculture. The acquisition expands Becker Underwood’s reach to nine countries.
Becker-Underwood will use BCP to take a new range of biorational products to the rest of Africa and to its other global businesses, said company CEO Peter Innes in a news release.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
