Anyone living within 50 miles of Des Moines can offer their vision of the future for Greater Des Moines by going to www.capitalcrossroadsvision.com. Click “survey” and provide questions and answers that explore the region’s strengths and weaknesses and identify future opportunities and challenges. The survey also includes multiple open-ended questions where respondents may offer their ideas and hopes for what the area will look like in 10 to 20 years. The survey will remain available to the public until Dec. 10. The project is a joint effort of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines. Responses will contribute to a vision for the future and a guide to economic growth. The formal plan will be released in May 2011.
