Iowa Student Loan is teaming with the Iowa Nurses Association to introduce the Iowa Student Loan Nurse Educator Grant Program.

The program, unveiled this morning, is designed to help nursing educators fund their pursuit of advanced degrees, with the goal of encouraging more nursing students in the face of a current shortage in the field in Iowa.

Funding for the program will come from the operating budget of Iowa Student Loan, a private, nonprofit organization, and will not take government money.
