Mercy Foundation was recently named a Livestrong Foundation Community Impact Project award recipient, and has received a $16,000 grant that will be used to launch an artists-in-residence program at Mercy Cancer Center. The program will be available to patients at bedside and in small group settings in oncology units, intensive care/respiratory units, hospice and palliative care programs. Mercy Foundation was chosen for the award through an online voting campaign involving 169 hospitals, cancer centers and community organizations in eight regions across the United States.
