Delta Dental of Iowa appoints new board leadership roles

For Delta Dental of Iowa, Rowena “Ro” Crosbie was named board chair, Donna Grant was named vice chair, and Jeff Chungath and Libby Jacobs were elected as new board members. For the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation, J. Scott Raecker was named board chair, Nafissa Cisse Egbuonye was named vice chair and Heidi Bell was welcomed as a new board member. The boards oversee the not-for-profit health and wellness company, which serves more than 1.6 million members, and its foundation, which has invested more than $62 million to improve the health of Iowans. “On behalf of Delta Dental and our foundation, we welcome and congratulate our new board leaders,” April Schmaltz, interim co-CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa, said in a news release. “We know their leadership will continue to bring value to our entire organization.” Schmaltz and Todd Herren are serving as interim co-CEOs at Delta Dental of Iowa after Jeff Russell stepped down as president and CEO in May.
