Chris Clement joins McClure as chief operating officer

143 wordsAll Latest News, Key Leadership Changes, Retail and BusinessChris Clement is joining Midwest-based McClure, a civil, environmental and structural engineering firm headquartered in Clive, as the company’s chief operating officer. The move was effective Sept. 6 and designed to continue McClure’s growth outside of the Midwest. Clement will work at McClure’s Portsmouth, N.H., office. He previously served as the CEO of Infraspect, a complex bridge inspection, non-destructive testing and robotic engineering company. Before that, he was vice president of finance and administration, chief financial officer and COO at the University of New Hampshire between 2014 and 2022. He was also the commissioner and CEO of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. Founded in 1956, McClure provides engineering and surveying services to public and private clients. The firm has 12 offices throughout Iowa, Missouri and Kansas, and recently acquired Iron Engineering in Portsmouth, N.H., the firm’s first East Coast office.
