A decades-old strip center on Des Moines’ west side has been sold to a local limited liability company, Polk County real estate records show.

Douglas Avenue Plaza LLC, located in Des Moines, paid Knapp Investments LLC $2 million for property at 3800, 3808, 3834 Douglas Ave., records show (pictured).

The property, known as Douglas Avenue Plaza, was built in phases. In 1945, a two-story structure was built on about 0.3 acres at 3800 Douglas Ave. In 1966, a one-story strip center with five bays was added to the two-story structure. The following year, another one-story addition was added.

The value of the three properties totals just over $1.3 million.

The Shaun O’Tool Declaration of Trust paid Pardip and Daljit Sandhu $1.5 million for property at 10130 N.W. 76th Place in Johnston, records show. The 7.7-acre parcel includes a two-story, 4,175-square-foot house built in 2002. The transaction was recorded Oct. 2.

Provision Properties II LLC, located in Clive, paid NW College Ave LLC $2.67 million for property at 109, 113, 304, 308 and 312 N.W. College Ave. in Ankeny, records show. All five properties include two-story, eight-unit apartment buildings. The structure at 109 N.W. College Ave. was built in 1966 and the property is valued at $518,000. The apartment at 113 N.W. College Ave. was built in 1966 and the property is valued at $512,000. The buildings at 304, 308 and 312 N.W. College Ave. were each built in 1967, and each of the properties is valued at $555,000. Matthew and Maria Trosper paid Marcus and Kathryn Charter $1.1 million for property at 1210 N.E. 42nd Court in Ankeny, records show. The property includes a one-story, 2,426-square-foot house built in 2012. The transaction was recorded Oct. 3.

Iowa Equity Exchange Prkg 2716 LLC, located in West Des Moines, paid Anderson Land LC $988,435 for just over 15 acres of farmland at 9305 N.E. 38th Ave., east of Altoona, records show. The transaction was recorded Oct. 5.

5145 NW Beaver Drive LLC and Gardner Properties 5145 LLC paid Rueter Corp. $1.19 million for property at 5145 N.W. Beaver Drive in Des Moines, records show. The 2-acre parcel includes an 8,000-square-foot, one-story building construction in 1984. Shermco Industries, whose headquarters is in Phoenix, Ariz., occupies the property. Shermco is an electrical testing group with locations across North America. The property is valued at $921,000. The transaction was recorded Oct. 6.
