The Iowa Grocery Industry Association recognized five honorees, including Fareway Stores Inc. President Garrett Piklapp as the Retail Leader of the Year during its Hall of Fame Dinner on Monday. Piklapp has served as president of Fareway since August 2021 and has worked at the grocer for nearly 16 years.
