Jeff Kaiser, senior managing director for the region, is leading a search from both within CBRE and outside the company to identify Wright’s successor. Wright will become a senior vice president upon the hiring of his successor, according to a news release. “I’ve been involved in brokerage work for the past 31 years and enjoy every minute. This transition will allow me to focus on working with my three partners to continue growing our brokerage business,” Wright said in a prepared statement. “Our Des Moines office is already the largest commercial brokerage operation in Iowa. Having a market leader who is entirely focused on managing the Advisory & Transaction Services business will help the office’s brokerage team leverage CBRE’s vast resources and continue to produce successful outcomes for our clients.” Wright joined CBRE’s Des Moines office – then CBRE|Hubbell Commercial, a CBRE affiliate since 1996 – in 2014. He served as senior vice president, specializing in the sale and leasing of office and retail properties until adding managing director to his role in 2018. As managing director, he led CBRE|Hubbell Commercial through its acquisition by CBRE in 2022.
