Des Moines-based Tractor Zoom has acquired Anvil App Works, a move company officials say will expand Tractor Zoom’s ag tech offerings and bring jobs to Iowa.

Tractor Zoom is a data company that helps people find and value farm equipment. It also helps them get pre-approved to finance it through a streamlined process. Anvil App Works is a customer relationship management company designed for original equipment manufacturer farm equipment dealers.

“The decision to acquire Anvil App Works stems from our commitment to helping leaders in
agriculture make empowered, data-driven decisions when it comes to valuing heavy
equipment,” said Kyle McMahon, CEO and founder of Tractor Zoom, said in a news release. “This acquisition allows us to scale our AgTech products and bring further innovation to
the market, benefiting our dealer customers and the industry as a whole.”

Tractor Zoom’s Pro product gives dealers real-time supply and pricing information to help them better manage their inventories and increase turnaround on deals. Anvil App Works, based in Plymouth, Minn., offers a dealer-specific platform designed to streamline internal sales and equipment data management.

According to the release, by acquiring Anvil App Works, Tractor Zoom hopes to unify dealership data with real-time supply and pricing info.

Tractor Zoom will continue to operate from its headquarters in West Des Moines. It will add 16 employees from Minnesota, the release stated.
