More than $350,000 in CAT grants awarded to 2 projects

The Enhance Iowa Board awarded $370,000 in Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) grants to projects in Grinnell and Mason City. The Grinnell Historical Museum Society received $200,000 to convert a former retail space into an accessible museum of the town’s history. The North Iowa Events Center was awarded $170,000 to construct a 16,000-square-foot horse stable. The grants are given to communities and projects that enhance the quality of life in Iowa.
