Cy Fox, senior vice president of CBRE, has been named as a top 20% producer and a top 20 multifamily sales producer in the firm’s Americas brokerage business for 2023. The list recognizes 600 top brokers across North America, Canada and Latin America.

Fox is the only broker in Iowa to make the list. Fox, who joined CBRE’s Des Moines office in 2015,  specializes in the acquisition, disposition and repositioning of multifamily assets in Iowa on behalf of investors and owners. To date, he has participated in the sale of more than 7,000 apartment units totaling more than $1 billion. It is the third year Fox has been the top producer in CBRE’s Iowa office, said Bill Wright, managing director of CBRE’s West Des Moines office.

“This recognition is a testament to the determination and hard work of Cy and his business partner, Ray Hamilton. They have successfully built CBRE’s well-respected, multifamily business in Des Moines,” Wright said in a release.

Fox was also named the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association’s 2023 Broker of the Year. He received the 2023 Platinum Broker Award by Crexi, and CoStar included him on its Power Brokers list from 2016 to 2023.
