The Metro Waste Authority is offering two grants, the Environmental Mini Grant and the Environmental Enhancement Grant, to fund environmental stewardship projects in eligible communities. Applicants can receive between $2,000 and $10,000 in reimbursement grants that support projects that align with one of the six identified components of the organization’s environmental management system, including greenhouse gas management, water quality improvement, environmental education, organics management, household hazardous materials and recycling. To apply, projects must be based in Metro Waste Authority’s planning area and must not have received grant funding in the past. Learn more and apply here.
