The nonpartisan committee aims to foster education, engagement and encouragement among its members, according to a news release. The West Des Moines Chamber will host its next Civic Connect event, which will feature Iowa Rep. David Young, a Republican, at 2 p.m. on March 22 at the chamber’s office. Seating is limited.
