Local CEO named finalist for regional EY Entrepreneur of the Year award

Joseph Dunham II, president and CEO of West Des Moines-based OneroRx Inc., is a finalist for Ernst & Young’s (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year Heartland Award. The Heartland Award celebrates entrepreneurs from North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas. Dunham is one of 28 finalists and the only one from Iowa this year. According to a news release, the award recognizes original founders, transformational CEOs, and multigenerational family business leaders. Candidates were evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact among other core contributions and attributes, the release said. OneroRx is a regional provider of pharmacy and telepharmacy services, pharmaceutical products, supplements and medical supplies to patients in underserved communities. The company started with six pharmacies in 2021. It now operates 66 pharmacies in seven states. The EY regional award winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 20.
