TS Bank holding retirement celebration for Mick Guttau

163 wordsAll Latest News, Banking and FinanceTS Bank, a charter of TS Banking Group, announced it will celebrate the retirement of Michael (Mick) Guttau with a public open house from 3 to 5 p.m. on June 26 at the TS Bank headquarters, located at 15 E. Main St. in Treynor. Guttau retired on March 31 after a 52-year career in community banking. Guttau started at the bank after returning from serving in the Vietnam War, and in 1978, he and his wife, Judy, bought the bank. Guttau served as CEO, president and chairman of the board throughout his career at TS Bank. He also served as the Iowa superintendent of banking and chairman of the Iowa Bankers Association, Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, the Federal Home Loan Bank Council and American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council.
