Stumpf named new GreenState CFO

Stumpf has 18 years of experience in the finance industry and has worked at GreenState since 2014. As the credit union’s first controller and finance team member, she built and managed a team to support GreenState’s growth and established a finance committee to enhance transparency of financial performance, rules and risk. Before her appointment to CFO, she served as senior vice president and controller.
“Heather’s deep understanding of GreenState and her strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Credit Union make her well-positioned to contribute to the organization’s strategic initiatives as CFO,” said GreenState President and CEO Vic Israni in a prepared statement.
Stumpf’s community involvement includes serving as treasurer of the Domestic Violence Intervention Program and as a member of the finance council of her church. She is an active member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, where she serves on the financial institutions and career awareness committees, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
