The University of Northern Iowa Foundation raised $39.9 million during the 2023-24 fiscal year, after launching its Our Tomorrow capital campaign in October 2022. UNI announced in January 2024 it had passed the campaign’s $250 million goal and raised the goal to $300 million. During the 2023-24 year, nearly $17 million supported student access and success, and donors established 51 new scholarships, a news release said. Donors also gave $5.6 million to capital projects throughout the year. UNI has added a wrestling training facility and a new basketball practice facility to the list of capital projects under the Our Tomorrow campaign. The other projects are the Campanile, the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center and the UNI-Dome. The release said the current total raised for the Our Tomorrow campaign is $279.9 million.
