The Iowa chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners will honor three Iowa women with awards Nov. 7 at its Celebration of Excellence event. The honorees are:

• NAWBO Iowa Legacy Award: Molly Lopez, chief operating officer at the Iowa Economic Development Authority, and past owner of Association Management Limited.
• NAWBO Iowa Business Owner of the Year: Kendra Erkamaa, president and owner of Triangle Financial Services.
• NAWBO Iowa Advocate of the Year: Tricia Rivas, founder and owner of Trixies Salon & Spa, and customer relations coordinator at Iowa’s Small Business Development Center.

The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club, 1600 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines. Registration for the event is open through Oct. 31.
