My City My Health, a nonprofit holding a national series of conferences on health equity, is holding its third annual event in Des Moines on Nov. 15. The My City My Health conferences aim to address health disparities and create actionable solutions to improve health outcomes as well as bridge the gap between health care professionals and the communities they serve. This year’s conference will feature panels on immigrant health, health equity at work, inclusive health care and Black maternal health. Started in 2022, My City My Health was founded by Corey Dion Lewis and Larry Twitty Jr. The event is at the River Center in Des Moines from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To view the agenda or register, visit the event page.
