NOTABLE TRANSACTIONS: Kwik Trip pays $3.8 million for land in Ankeny

Kwik Trip Inc., based in La Crosse, Wis., paid Wilson Group LLC $3.18 million for property in the 6100 block of S.E. Delaware Avenue, Polk County real estate records show. The Ankeny property includes 10 acres of undeveloped land acres. Earlier this year, the company acquired adjacent property on which a single-family residence is located. The company plans on constructing a travel center on the site. The travel center will include spaces for 46 semi-trailer trucks. A spokesperson said construction is expected to begin in 202 The transaction was recorded Oct. 7.

DR Horton Iowa LLC, located in Iowa, paid North Ankeny Land LLC $1.65 million for 50 residential lots in Kimberley Villas plat 1 in Ankeny, records show. The property is in a new development west of Interstate Highway 35 in north Ankeny. The transaction was recorded Oct. 7.

30th & Boston LLC, based in Denver, Colo., paid Oakview Terrace I LP $13.5 million for rental property in the 2800 block of Boston Avenue in Des Moines, records show. The transaction includes the acquisition of the Oakview Terrace apartment complex and several residential rental properties. The transaction was recorded Oct. 7.

DRA Properties LC, located in Ankeny, paid the Joe Brandt Revocable Trust and Sheryl Brandt Revocable Trust $2.29 million for 60 acres of farmland in Ankeny, records show. The property is south of Northeast 118th Avenue and east of Northeast 29th Street. DRA Properties also purchased 46 acres immediately south of the 60-acre parcel. DRA Properties paid the Ted West Trust $2.2 million. Both transactions were recorded Oct. 8.

Charlie Tango II LLC, located in Ankeny, paid Hope Timber LLC just over $1 million for nearly 10 acres of undeveloped land north of Northwest Fifth Street and east of Northwest County Line Road in Grimes, records show. The plat is zoned for residential development. The transaction was recorded Oct. 10.

Agree Stores LLC, managed by Michigan-based Agree Realty Corp., paid Gerber Real Estate Inc. $951,642 for property at 1407 and 1505 S.W. Ordnance Road in Ankeny, records show. The property at 1407 S.W. Ordnance Road includes a 7,040-square-foot warehouse built in 1986. The .5-acre tract at 1505 S.W. Ordnance is semi-improved. The transaction was recorded Oct. 11.

Dallas County

Benjamin and Michelle McCollum paid Queck Capital Management LLC $1.7 million for property at 3815 N.W. 183rd St. in Clive, records show. The property includes a 3,033-square-foot house built in 2024. The transaction was recorded Oct. 7.

CS Real Estate Services LLC, located in Urbandale, paid 117 Holdings Co. LLC $3.25 million for property at 700 Interstate Parkway in Waukee, Dallas County real estate records show. The 2.48-acre parcel includes four metal warehouses, ranging from 5,000 square feet to 6,000 square feet in size. The structures were built in 2018 and 2019. The property is valued at $1.9 million. The transaction was recorded Oct. 8.
