Wells Fargo employees begin working, meeting in remodeled space at Jordan Creek campus in West Des Moines

170 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentWells Fargo employees have begun working in the 360,000 square feet of office space that has been remodeled at the financial institution’s 160-acre Jordan Creek campus in West Des Moines, a company spokesperson said.
The campus, located on the southeast corner of Mills Civic and South Jordan Creek parkways, includes 1.1 million square feet of office space, surface parking lots and two parking garages. Between 10,000 and 11,000 people work at the campus, the spokesperson said.
Building permits issued for the work valued the projects at over $57.7 million.
Wells Fargo began remodeling the office spaces in 2023. The work included reconfiguring office spaces to accommodate hybrid work schedules. Other upgrades were made to dining and activity spaces and meeting rooms and areas. Future upgrades are planned, although a timeline has not been set.
In January 2023, Wells Fargo announced plans to consolidate many of its Des Moines-area offices, including those downtown, to the Jordan Creek campus. Wells Fargo has consolidated office space in other locations, including San Francisco, Phoenix and Charlotte.
