DMU’s 2024 symposium to focus on technology-driven research

145 wordsAll Latest News, Health and WellnessDes Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences will host its 2024 Research Symposium on Nov. 21 at its new campus in West Des Moines. This year’s symposium will highlight DMU’s commitment to advancing health care through cutting-edge technology and a focus on patient outcomes, a news release said. The event’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Yogesh Shah, medical director of the Memory Clinic at Broadlawns Medical Center discussing data-driven strategies for dementia diagnosis and care. “Our goal is to not only showcase our faculty and students’ research findings but also to provide a space for networking and generating new ideas,” said Pravin Mishra, DMU’s executive director of research and symposium chair, in a prepared statement.
