Peak Realty LLC, located in Las Vegas, Nev., paid Catholic Health Initiatives Iowa Corp. (also known as Mercy Medical Center) $2.1 million for property at 5820 Winwood Drive in Johnston, Polk County real estate records show. The purchase also includes the acquisition of a one-half acre of semi-improved land south of the Winwood Drive property. The purchase includes a one-story, 15,000-square-foot medical building constructed in 2000. The building had been occupied by the Johnston Hospice House. MercyOne announced in May 2023 that it was closing the facility. The properties are valued at $3.4 million.
