Waukee marketing firm Blue Frog acquired by Avidly

Blue Frog, a Waukee-based marketing firm, has been acquired by Avidly, a global growth design company creating digital marketing and sales solutions, the companies announced today. Avidly is the largest partner of HubSpot, a global provider of customer relationship management software. Blue Frog is also a HubSpot partner with a role in consulting on, implementing and managing CRM software for customers, according to a company spokesperson. According to a news release, the Blue Frog acquisition establishes Avidly’s North American presence and its fourth global hub. “The decision to partner with Avidly was driven by our understanding of the ongoing evolution of the HubSpot ecosystem, the increasingly complex needs of HubSpot clients, and the need to scale our team to meet increased demand for our services,” Blue Frog CEO John Campbell said in a prepared statement. “Access to the breadth and depth of resources at Avidly, the [five-time] Global partner of the year, allows us to scale more smoothly while continuing to provide the award-winning services our clients expect from Blue Frog.” Blue Frog will continue to operate under its existing brand and use Avidly’s global network and resources to enhance service delivery, the release said. The transaction closed on Dec. 2.
