Applications for fourth cohort of HealthConnect Fellowship now open

136 wordsAll Latest News, Health and WellnessMid-Iowa Health Foundation has announced the opening of applications for its fourth cohort of the HealthConnect Fellowship. The HealthConnect Fellowship is an 18-month initiative that provides funding, educational opportunities, collaboration and mentorship to develop solutions that support positive health outcomes for children, families and communities in Central Iowa, according to a news release. The foundation is looking for fellows who are active community partners working at nonprofit or government entities with missions and strategies that align with the foundation’s strategic approach. Up to eight fellows will be invited to join the cohort that starts in May. Mid-Iowa Health Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation that invests in strategies working to address social determinants of health and create equitable opportunities for children and families in Des Moines.
