Gross-Wen Technologies (GWT), a Slater-based wastewater treatment technology company, announced the hiring of Steve Wirtel as its new vice president of business development. Wirtel is a licensed engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Illinois.
