The agreement includes seats in DMU’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program that are reserved annually for competitive Hawkeye students based on GPA, demonstrated hours of relevant observational or work experience and other academic achievements. “By creating opportunities for students to continue their education in Iowa, we are building a pipeline of health care professionals who will stay and work in Iowa,” Cindy Koehn, Hawkeye’s occupation therapy assistant program director, said in a prepared statement.
