RecPlex in West Des Moines, Dallas County records show. Bergman is the developer behind the Grand Experience, a proposed $400 million development that is expected to include an indoor water park, hotel and conference center. Under a development agreement approved in December by the West Des Moines City Council, Bergman will donate 5.39 acres south of Grand Avenue and east of the RecPlex to West Des Moines for parking.
