Industrial properties in the southern part of Des Moines have been acquired by a local entity, Polk County real estate records show.

Susa Capital LLC, located in Waukee, paid Mid America Development Co. $6.25 million for property at 2201 and 2205 Bell Ave. and for an 8-acre undeveloped parcel north of Bell Avenue between Fleur Drive and Southwest 22nd Street.

The 5.5-acre parcel at 2201 Bell Ave. includes a 180,674-square-foot heavy industrial building constructed in 1966. The building is occupied by Berry Global Inc. The property is valued at $4.6 million.

The 4.3-acre parcel at 2205 Bell Ave. includes a 57,394-square-foot industrial building constructed in 1968 and occupied by White Cap, a building materials supplier. The property is valued at $2.5 million. The transaction was recorded March 13.

The Texas-based homebuilder, with an office in Ankeny, paid North Ankeny Land LLC $1.4 million for lots in Plat 1 and $560,000 for the lots in Plat 2. The plats are in northeast Ankeny, between Northeast Sienna Drive and Interstate Highway 35. The transactions were recorded March 11.

Petrissans Family Farms LP, located in Bakersfield, Calif., paid Marc 1 Holdings LLC $4.89 million for property at 6310 Hickman Road in Windsor Heights, records show. The property includes a recently constructed, 4,763-square-foot drive-thru car wash. The transaction was recorded March 12.

The state of Iowa paid West Lakes Properties LC $575,000 for property at 3401 S.W. 61st St. in Des Moines, records show. The 2.2-acre parcel includes a surface parking lot. The newly acquired property is east of office property the state acquired in 2023. The transaction was recorded March 12.

Clay and Kristin Thielking paid Steven and Chelsey Wood $1.7 million for property at 4951 Cherrywood Place in West Des Moines, records show. The property includes a 4,033-square-foot house built in 2002. The transaction was recorded March 14.
