Hope Ministries’ CEO, Leon Negen, will retire March 31, the organization announced. Negen served in the role for 31 years. Hope Ministries’ board of directors has named Cole Lindholm as the organization’s next president and CEO, starting April 1. During his tenure, Negen oversaw the merger of Bethel Mission and the Door of Faith, which formed Hope Ministries. He led the nonprofit through multiple campaigns and seasons of growth, and it expanded to a new 50,000-square-foot facility. He also increased the organization’s annual budget from $300,000 to more than $15 million and significantly increased the donor base. “On behalf of our Board of Directors, I want to thank Leon for his remarkable leadership throughout his three decades of faithful service,” Hope Ministries Chairman Alan Gross said in a prepared statement. “He has kept attuned to the growing needs in our community, while remaining steadfastly committed to our core values. His passion for serving those in need is evident in every aspect of his work.”
