Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., based in Johnston, paid ARCP OFC Johnston IA Phase II LLC $30 million for property located at 8325 N.W. 62nd Ave. in Johnston. The 14-acre parcel was developed in 2014 by Ryan Cos. DuPont Pioneer’s Crick Research Center is located in the 184,658-square-foot building. Fareway Stores Inc., which had been headquartered in Boone, paid Graham Group Inc. $3.65 million for property at 8800 N.W. 62nd Ave. in Johnston. The nearly 4-acre parcel includes a two-story, 42,000-square-foot office building constructed in 2001. The property was valued at just over $4 million in 2024. Fareway relocated its corporate headquarters to the Johnston property. The transaction was recorded Jan. 8, 2024.

505 Market Street LLC, located in West Des Moines, paid Outcomes Holdings LLC $3.5 million for property at 505 Market St., Suite 120. The two-story building includes a mix of office and retail uses. The property was valued at $4.1 million in 2024. The transaction was recorded Sept. 3.

Patel, who owns the Hotel Fort Des Moines, has said he plans to raze the former home of the LifeServe Blood Center and redevelop property for mixed-use, including a hotel, housing and a restaurant or bar. The transaction was recorded Oct. 3.

The three-story building includes 39,885 square feet of space. The building is being converted to coworking warehouse space. The property was valued at $2.9 million in 2024. The transaction was recorded Oct. 25.

Old Ford Tractor LLC, located in Des Moines, paid 13th & Mulberry LLC $2.3 million for property at 213 13th St. in Des Moines. Renovation of the one-story, 14,856-square-foot building on the property was recently completed. The structure, built in 1949, originally was used as a tractor repair and storage facility. Later, it was occupied by H.B. Leiserowitz Co., which sold and repaired photography equipment. The property was valued at $1.2 million in 2024. The transaction was recorded Dec. 2.

Hope Law Firm & Associates PC paid Grand Ridge LC $2.3 million for property at 5022 Grand Ridge Drive in West Des Moines. The property includes a two-story, 13,576-square-foot office building that was constructed in 2001. The property was valued at just over $2 million in 2024.
