Family Credit Union announces new CEO

Brandt will begin April 28. Brandt has more than 24 years of experience in the credit union industry, including more than half of that time serving as president and CEO of two other credit unions. “With Mike’s leadership, we are excited about the vision and future of The Family Credit Union,” Steve Horan, vice chair of the board and member of the search committee, said in a prepared statement. “After a thorough and thoughtful search process, the Board of Directors is confident that Mike’s leadership, experience, and deep understanding of the credit union philosophy make him the ideal person to lead the credit union into its next chapter and help us continue to improve the financial lives of Iowans.”
