UI’s Field appointed to federal science panel
The director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency plans to appoint Dr. William Field of the University of Iowa to the federal Science Advisory Board. The panel’s official mission is “to provide independent advice and peer review to EPA’s Administrator on the scientific and technical aspects of environmental issues.” Field is a professor in the occupational and environmental health and epidemiology in the College of Public Health.
