Gov. Reynolds appoints Murphy to Judicial District 5A bench

79 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawThomas Murphy, pictured, of West Des Moines will fill the vacancy in Iowa Judicial District 5A that was left by the retirement of Judge Gregory Hulse, according to a release from the office of Gov. Kim Reynolds. Murphy received his law degree from Drake University Law School and his undergraduate degree from Marquette University. He currently serves as an attorney at Hopkins & Huebner, P.C. Judicial District 5A consists of Jasper, Marion, Warren, Madison, Dallas and Guthrie counties.
