Taber named to Broadlawns board

135 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and Law, Health and WellnessBroadlawns Medical Center announced today that Bill Taber has been appointed to its board of trustees, and he will complete a six-year term that was vacated by Cynthia Gray. Taber, who previously served on the board from 1989 to 1996, was chosen by the board from a field of five applicants for the vacated seat last month, and was sworn in on Nov. 21. His term will expire on Dec. 31, 2020. He is president of Taber Asset Management LLC, a Des Moines investment management and financial planning firm. “We are very pleased to have Bill Taber rejoin the Broadlawns board of trustees,” said Jody Jenner, Broadlawns president and CEO. “Bill’s long-standing history and familiarity with Broadlawns coupled with his astute financial acumen will be of great benefit to our organization and to our community.”
