She will meet with presidential daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump about workforce issues. Reynolds, in a wide-ranging interview with the Business Record in her formal office at the Statehouse, said she plans to show Trump information about Iowa’s more innovative training programs, such as APEX in Waukee. Reynolds paused in the interview to tell visiting U.S. Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon about the Waukee student who stopped Apple’s Tim Cook as Cook left a meeting at APEX a while back. “She said, ‘Oh, just a moment, just a moment. I forgot. I wanted to give you my business card. I started my own nonprofit.’ I just wanted to shout, ‘Yes!’ ”
