Ankeny women support local nonprofit
100 Women Who Care Ankeny awarded Children & Families of Iowa an $8,600 gift to help the organization renovate Cornerstone Recovery Center, its mental health facility based in Ankeny. The award was presented at 100 Women Who Care’s October meeting. 100 Women Who Care is a group that allows members to each give $100 four times each year to area nonprofit organizations. The group just completed its inaugural year in the Ankeny area, donating more than $30,000 to area organizations.
