Urbandale Kmart to close, along with another Iowa Kmart and a Sears

Iowa will lose two Kmart stores and one Sears store this year, parent company Sears Holdings announced Thursday. The Kmart at 7501 Hickman Road in Urbandale will close in early April.

The Des Moines Register: Iowa will lose two Kmart stores and one Sears store this year, parent company Sears Holdings announced Thursday. The Kmart at 7501 Hickman Road in Urbandale will close in early April. That leaves the Des Moines metro with only one remaining Kmart, at 2435 Hubbell Avenue. The company will also close its Kmart store in Red Oak and a Sears in Waterloo.
