But he made it clear he did not want the state to continue to care for Iowa’s most complex cases, who already have been moved from one insurance company to Iowa’s fee-for-service program. With just more than a month under his belt as the new director of Iowa’s $5 billion Medicaid program, Michael Randol told the Gazette that Iowa is on track to find a third private managed-care organization.
